Play Me a Song

Cello Play Me a Song

Play me a French song & I will listen

Your voice as sexy as sin upon my skin
Your tongue plays the curvature of my spine
Each note kissing me; sensually, you take me
My ear to nibble with music; my soul to enshrine

Dripping wax candles mystically lit
I will burn in your every sensation
And we need not ask forgiveness
for every lyric lost in translation

Our eyes will sing what words cannot express
Seeing rivers flow over each new horizon
of Paris, New York, you, I and the melody
Heavenly verses will play as we blend as one

Listening to a French song ~ I understood very few lyrics though the voice “sexy as sin” inspired me to write this poem

About spiritedpoet

No online identity can truly define me. I am a kamakaze pilot of life. I have a navigation panel with controls, but I understand I cannot control external elements. I believe I am spirited with God (Love) to guide my life. I am human in my strength and my frailty. I somehow safely navigate my children through life's trial and errors. I proudly wear each stripe on my Mom's uniform; though, I still love the silky feel of soft négligée against my skin. I am human after all. Welcome to my Spirited Poet blog. Welcome to me.
