Spirited in Poetry

Joy encircles me

lost in poetry

songs of sanctuary

ring anthems within

Perception is real

I sing what I feel

a new world to reveal

unspoken in speech

This black ink I write

Unravels daylight

hushes bridges at midnight

motionless in peace

moments I adorn

cradle a newborn

art museum on Tuesday morn

divine intervention

cremated in ashes

my poetry scatters

nothing else matters

life is born again

black and white engraved

colors bleed and fade

burnt letters on a page

my vision in words

melodies of me

sung relentlessly

risen in poetry

I am this world

unseen amidst sound

waywardly found

on paper I resound

Spirited in poetry

I write to exist

Transcendent of time and space

About spiritedpoet

No online identity can truly define me. I am a kamakaze pilot of life. I have a navigation panel with controls, but I understand I cannot control external elements. I believe I am spirited with God (Love) to guide my life. I am human in my strength and my frailty. I somehow safely navigate my children through life's trial and errors. I proudly wear each stripe on my Mom's uniform; though, I still love the silky feel of soft négligée against my skin. I am human after all. Welcome to my Spirited Poet blog. Welcome to me.
